Two big shows done: and interest in the Melcourt peat-free range is greater than ever

One of the many useful things about trade shows is that they give you the chance to get a sense of where you stand with real live customers and – just as important – with non customers. Four Oaks is a show for professional growers whilst GLEE is one aimed more at garden centre buyers looking for the next idea or product to offer gardeners. We’re unusual since we serve both markets. Indeed, our formulations for gardeners like SylvaGrow®  are in many cases identical to the ones we produce for some of the most respected professional growers in the UK. So, with these two shows done and dusted it is very pleasing to reflect on the fact that interest in our peat-free products has never been greater in both sectors. Of course, our sales this year so far have reflected this. But the conversations held at both trade shows give us confidence that, in many respects, we’ve only just begun. On that note it’s probably as good a time as any to thank our very loyal customers in both the production and retail sectors, and our many #peatfree champions on social media. They, as much as the team who work here, have been major players in our growth. Meanwhile, the show season goes on. See you at:
