It’s hugely gratifying to see the number of Melcourt stockists growing. Since the start of this year alone we’ve added 51 bringing the total to over 500 across the UK (compared to less than 100 just five years ago). This means it’s easier than ever to buy our #peatfree products – although we still want more and better coverage to fill in the geographic gaps.
For those without a local stockist or who can’t get to one for whatever reason there are online options including, from this week, crocus who will be stocking 15L bags of SylvaGrow Multipurpose, SylvaGrow Organic, Sylvagrow with added John Innes and SylvaGrow Ericaceous. It was in the direction of online sales that we had to point one recent enquirer from Belgium who, having bought some SylvaGrow on a visit to the gardens at Hidcote, managed by stockists The National Trust, was looking for a stockist near Meerhout, about 40 mile south east of Antwerp. Sadly, we haven’t yet grown to that extent!
