We are delighted to know from social media that there is a burgeoning demand for SylvaGrow both north and south of the border. The unfortunate news is that due to plant health restrictions we are currently unable to send anything containing bark there unless it has undergone a detailed and specific sterilization process. Bark products have to hold a plant passport in the same way that any grower has to plant passport plants that move across national boundaries. We do currently sell some of our professional bark products to a couple of customers in Ireland but only with large volumes of material that have undergone the sterilization process, the volumes being the critical factor that makes the whole process financially viable.
However, we are always ready to look at situations such as this and will monitor whether we feel that the scale of the potential sales would justify the production costs – so watch this space!
