We belong to Garden Centre Association, the Horticultural Trades Association and the Growing Media Association. All this plus our expert knowledge and advice.

All of our products are 100% peat-free, are carefully formulated to professional quality standards using renewable resources and are made in the UK.

We continue to invest in state-of the art manufacturing and packing facilities.

Melcourt is unique in having most of our product range endorsed by the renowned Royal Horticultural Society.

Wherever possible, our products are approved by the Soil Association and are vegan friendly.

Most of our polythene bags are fully recyclable, contain a minimum of 30% recycled plastic and we are working with our suppliers to achieve 50% recycled material by 2025.

We do not have or intend to have an online shop, preferring to fully support Stockist network.

Our point of sale resources include eye-catching Stockist Display banners, pallet header boards, mini bulk bags and display boards, together with consumer leaflets

All of our mulch products have been fire tested in accordance with the requirements of BS4790:1987

Our topsoil complies to the requirements of BS3882:2015

We belong to many industry trade associations, including the Growing Media Association, the Garden Centre Association and the Horticultural Trades Association.

Our bulk bag and pack volumes are carefully monitored to confirm that they fall within the industry standards.

We also take stand space and regularly attend Building Industry events e.g. NBG Annual Conference, together with individual Builders’ Merchants’ events / exhibitions etc.
