Melcourt Industries feature in The Parliamentary Review

An important event in the diaries of both politicians and business leaders, the March release of The Parliamentary Review sees the document highlight the best practice of organisations across the private and public sectors, sharingsome of the most exciting and forward-thinking work that has occurred in the country over the last year. The Review is edited by former minister The Rt Hon David Curry.

Melcourt Industries are the UK’s leading manufacturer of peat-free sustainable products for use in commercial horticulture, landscaping, gardening and other applications. Managing Director Andy Chalmers offers further insight into our sector and its industry in this year’s Review.

Ongoing scallop wars off the Normandy coast, forthcoming updates in farming standards and the impact of Brexit on UK farmers are among the current issues covered in the Agriculture and Rural Affairs edition, featuring sector leaders alongside Prime Minister Theresa May and Claire Perry MP.

The co-chairman of The Parliamentary Review, Lord Pickles, has praised the Review as one of the most comprehensive yet. He commented that as Britain undergoes changes, it is “essential that politicians have a firm understanding of the challenges with which British organisations must contend” and that The Review once again provides a perfect platform for this.

Writing in The Review, the Prime Minister says that “British politics provides ample material for analysis in the pages of The Parliamentary Review.”
