Congratulations to Neil Alcock of Seiont Nurseries who received the award for Best New Herbaceous Perennial Eryngium Zabelli Neptune’s Gold at the UK Growers Awards 2015. The award was sponsored by Plants for Europe.
Neptune’s Gold was bred , trialled and then put into commercial production as a liner entirely in Melcourt Sylvamix, our peat-free professional growing medium which is also used by professional nurserymen producing everything from shrubs and grasses to fruit and ornamental trees. Once despatched to Hardy’s Cottage Garden Plants Neptune’s Gold was grown on and sold in the same peat-free mix – and shown at RHS Chelsea.
